IndiGo expands codeshare partnership with Qantas Airways

In 2022, IndiGo and Qantas finalized a codeshare alliance, allowing Qantas customers flying on non-stop flights between Australia and India to link to 21 destinations in India on IndiGo.

On Thursday, IndiGo revealed the expansion of its codeshare partnership with Australia’s renowned carrier, Qantas Airways. 

This expansion introduces new connections for travelers, facilitating seamless journeys within Australia on Qantas-operated domestic flights. 

The additional cities covered by these new codeshare connections include Adelaide, Canberra, and Gold Coast, enhancing the travel experience for passengers, as outlined in a recent press release.

Strengthening Collaboration:

The collaboration between IndiGo and Qantas was solidified in 2022, laying the foundation for enhanced connectivity between Australia and India.

Through this codeshare partnership, Qantas customers availing themselves of non-stop flights between the two countries gain access to a network of 21 destinations across India, seamlessly connecting them to their final destinations.

November 2023 witnessed a significant milestone in the partnership’s journey, with IndiGo announcing codeshare connections to key Australian cities such as Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, and Brisbane. 

The addition of Adelaide, Canberra, and Gold Coast further enriches the network, offering travelers more options and flexibility in planning their travel itineraries.
