Thousands March Demanding Minister’s Resignation

An estimated 50,000 protesters gathered in the national capital on Monday, marching from Jantar Mantar toward Parliament to demand the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over allegations linked to NEET paper leaks. The Cockroach Janta Party, which organized the rally, had been camped at the site for a month before the large-scale march drew massive crowds. Security forces responded with tear gas and baton charges in an attempt to disperse the demonstrators, resulting in injuries among the protesters.

Khushboo Patani Shares Her Ground Experience

Khushboo attended the protest incognito, covering her face with a mask and cap to blend in with the crowd. Taking to her Instagram Stories, she described feeling safe throughout the demonstration despite the massive turnout, noting that many young men in the crowd raised their hands above their heads while walking to ensure they did not accidentally touch any woman inappropriately. She praised the discipline and courage shown by Gen Z protesters, saying the experience left her impressed by their spirit and left her a self-described fan of the generation’s activism.

The protest drew reactions from several public figures, including actors Shabana Azmi and Prakash Raj, who voiced support for the demonstrating students following the police action.
