Madhya Pradesh police ; The Kashmir Files, a recently released film by filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, has wowed audiences with its powerful, hard-hitting subject and storyline. Aside from the audience, the film has received praise from critics and many Bollywood stars. Amid glowing reviews, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced on Monday. That police officers in the state would be given time off to watch the recently released film The Kashmir Files.

On Sunday, the Chief Minister also decided to exempt the film from the state’s entertainment tax.

As a result, aside from MP, the film is tax-free in Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Haryana.

On Monday, MP Home Minister Narottam Mishra told the media. The Madhya Pradesh policemen will be give leave to watch the movie The Kashmir Files. And instructions for the same have been issue to Director General of Police Sudhir Saxena.”

The Kashmir Files, written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri and produced by Zee Studios. Depicts the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus from Kashmir as a result of systematic killings of members of the community by Pakistan-backed terrorists. Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, Mithun Chakraborty, also Pallavi Joshi play pivotal roles in the film.
