Man and Daughter Killed by Parcel Bomb in Gujarat

A tragic incident unfolded in Gujarat’s Vadali as a parcel bomb exploded, claiming the lives of a man and his daughter. Investigations revealed that the parcel was sent by a man allegedly having an affair with the victim’s wife. The victim, Jeetubhai Vanjara, and his 12-year-old daughter, Bhumika, lost their lives in the explosion. 

Tape Recorder, the explosive device:

Police arrested the accused, Jayantibhai Vanjara, who orchestrated the attack due to disapproval of Jeetubhai’s marriage to his former girlfriend. The explosive device, disguised as a tape recorder, was delivered by an auto-rickshaw and detonated upon opening. 

Jeetubhai’s other two daughters sustained injuries and are receiving treatment, with one in critical condition. Jeetubhai’s wife was fortunately away from home during the incident.

Investigations reveal that the parcel was sent by a man having an affair with the victim’s wife, intending to kill the victim due to disapproval of their marriage.

Arrest of the Accused:

Police arrested Jayantibhai Vanjara, who orchestrated the attack, obtaining materials from Rajasthan to construct the improvised bomb disguised as a tape recorder.

Jeetubhai and his daughter Bhumika succumbed to the explosion, while the other two daughters sustained severe injuries, with one requiring ventilator support.

Investigation in Gujarat Parcel Bomb Case:

The injured daughters have been transferred to Ahmedabad for advanced medical care, with both sustaining severe injuries to their eyes and chests. Meanwhile, police continued investigating the incident while Jeetubhai’s wife was fortunately away from home during the explosion.
