Vadodara: It is a matter of pride for Gujarat that a Gujarat Shweta Parmar becomes the first Female civilian skydiver in the state at the age of just 28 years. Shweta, who dared to fly in the sky and jump from a height of thousands of feet, has set a record as the first Gujarati.
With the government’s approval, Shweta Parmar has expressed her desire to jump from the world’s tallest Statue of Unity in the Kevadia Colony.
There are only three licensed female skydivers in her first country – Padma Shri awardee Rachel Thomas, Sheetal Mahajan and Archana Sardana. Shweta started her journey in the year 2016. After doing a certificate course in Spain, Shweta has learned to fly high in the sky independently.
Who is Shweta Parmar?
Shweta has jumped 29,000 feet in the sky, 15 times in Spain, three times in Dubai, and 15 times in Russia. Her dream is to jump 200 times from the sky. Her dream is to jump from the sky in the evening and from the sky in Dubai at midnight. He now wants to jump from the sky at an altitude of 17,000 feet.
Shweta graduated from MS University, Vadodara with a degree in Commerce, BBA and MBA and worked as a finance company in Surat. Unfortunately, Shweta lost her father at the age of 18.

Shweta can now jump with other skydivers at any place recognized by the United States Parachute Association (USPA). She has so far made jumps in Spain, Dubai and Russia. Shweta said the Statue of Unity dreams of skydiving with other female skydivers for the coming generation and girls’ empowerment.
