Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu hopes Bollywood debut with superstars
Sushmita Sen crowned Miss Universe in 1994. Lara Dutta later brought the crown to India in 2000, and now. After 21 years, Harnaaz Sandhu has won the title of Miss Universe for the country.
After winning the Miss Universe title, Sushmita and Lara entered the Bollywood film industry. So, is Harnaaz going to follow in their footsteps? It appears that the current Miss Universe will make her Bollywood debut. As she is already an actress who has been performing in theatre for the past five years.
When asked about her plans to enter Bollywood, Harnaaz told E-Times. “don’t know what would happen because I am a person who never plans her life.”
I am a professional actor who has worked in the theatre for five years. I want to influence people and break stereotypes about what women are and can be, and I believe that acting can help me do that. Because, in today’s world, movies have the power to intimidate and influence people. That is how I can influence and inspire people by following my passion and doing my best for society.”
When asked if she has a favorite actor or director with whom she would like to make her Bollywood debut.
Harnaaz replied, “Given the chance, I am excited to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. I adore the way he works, the quality, the art, the feeling, and the depth of every detail in his films and work.”
“As I’ve previously stated, I have a great deal of admiration and affection for Shah Rukh Khan. I believe that the amount of hard work he has done and continues is never enough. But he’s always remained grounded, and he’s always managed success.
And the way he’s been speaking in every interview has inspired me that it’s all about the attitude that gets you where you want to go. It will be fascinating to see Harnaaz romance Shah Rukh Khan on the big screen.
