MP Mitesh Patel shares good news for Anand Vande Bharat Stop

The Gandhinagar-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express is expected to make a stop at Anand Junction, as confirmed by Lok Sabha MP Mitesh Patel. In a post on social media, Patel shared that the Railway Ministry has given approval for the stoppage after he discussed the matter with Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. Once implemented, Anand will become the fifth station in Gujarat where the Vande Bharat Express will halt.

Patel emphasized that the inclusion of Anand as a stop on the Vande Bharat Express route was a long-awaited demand from local residents. The announcement has generated excitement among the people of Anand, who have been advocating for better connectivity for some time. The high-speed train, known for its speed and modern amenities, is expected to significantly improve travel options between Gandhinagar and Mumbai.

However, while Patel’s statement points to an official approval, there has been no formal confirmation from the Railway Ministry or the Ahmedabad railway division. An official from the Ahmedabad division told that they have not received any official communication, guidelines, or notifications regarding the stoppage at Anand as of now. This indicates that the final decision and implementation are still pending, and the public will need to wait for further announcements.

The Vande Bharat Express has already been praised for its efficiency, and its expansion in Gujarat could further enhance the region’s rail network. Adding Anand to the list of stops will not only benefit commuters from the town but also help improve the overall connectivity between important cities in the state. As residents await official confirmation, they are hopeful that the long-standing request will soon become a reality.
