Shreyas Iyer Stuns Crowd with Superman Catch to Dismiss Hardik Pandya

In a thrilling IPL 2026 encounter between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Wankhede Stadium on Thursday, PBKS captain Shreyas Iyer delivered what many are already calling the catch of the season. The gravity-defying effort dismissed Hardik Pandya and had the entire stadium on its feet.

On commentary, Ravi Shastri was effusive in his praise, calling it one of the finest catches the game has ever seen. Iyer, feeding off the electric atmosphere, turned to the crowd and called for their applause — and he thoroughly deserved every bit of it.
