Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has directed government department secretaries to ensure flawless arrangements for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit on September 27. The Prime Minister will attend the national ‘Sewa Parv’ programme in Berhampur while launching multiple welfare projects across the country from Odisha.

Major Infrastructure Projects on Launch Agenda

During his visit, PM Modi will inaugurate several significant development initiatives. These include the expansion of eight Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) nationwide and the doubling of crucial railway lines connecting Koraput-Baiguda and Manabar-Koraput-Gorapur. The Prime Minister will also launch the Sambalpur-Sarla flyover and BSNL’s indigenous 4G network rollout across the country.

Security and Logistics Coordination Underway

Chief Minister Majhi emphasized the importance of proper security deployment, maximizing public participation, and ensuring smooth programme execution during departmental meetings. Officials discussed comprehensive logistical arrangements and security force deployment protocols for the high-profile visit.

The ‘Sewa Parv’ initiative represents a nationwide celebration of service as patriotism, aligning with India’s developmental goals. PM Modi’s visit will also include declaring world-class super-specialty status for state hospitals, marking a significant healthcare infrastructure upgrade.

The Prime Minister is expected to arrive at Rangelunda, near Berhampur, at 11 AM to commence the national ‘Sewa Parv’ programme. This visit underscores the central government’s commitment to Odisha’s development while showcasing the state as a launch pad for national initiatives.

The comprehensive preparation reflects the significance of this visit in advancing both state and national development priorities through strategic project implementations.
