Finally, Google confirmed the launch date of its flagship smartphone, Pixel 5. Google will also introduce their new Chromecast, the new smart speaker, and the Pixel 4a 5G at its ‘Launch Night In’ event. The Google Pixel 5 event is scheduled for September 30.

Unlike the launch of the Pixel 4a, this will be a formal event. Google will also play its Launch Night Livestream in case it is scheduled to start at 11 AM PT which is 11:30 PM IST.

Livestream specifics have yet to be released, but most likely it will happen via YouTube. Google already announced the release of pixel 4a 5G and pixel 5.

What’s fresh is the introduction of a smart speaker and a Chromecast. Yet both items have already been found in several leaks.

He company’s flagship phone will be Google Pixel 5, and it will come with 5 G support. It’s also anticipated that the smartphone will come with the 765G Snapdragon chipset, 90Hz OLED display, RAM up to 8 GB, and storage of 128 GB. Pixel 5 will also have two rear cameras, and wireless charging capabilities.

As for the 4a 5G Google pixel, this will be the mid-range pixel 5G version. Apart from the 5G support, the latest Pixel 4a can deliver the same collection of features as the standard version.

But Google has announced that it will not launch the 5G Pixel 4a in India.

The latest codenamed, Google Chromecast ‘Sabrina’ is expected to cost approximately $50. A remote control which will have a dedicated Google Assistant button is supposed to come bundled with it.

More features planned on the latest Google Chromecast include Dolby Vision, 4K support, and HDR support, and a redesigned Android TV user interface.

This July, Google announced its latest Nest smart speaker. It looks very much like a better version of the Google Nest Mini, except in a cylindrical-like oblong shape.

The smart speaker comes in a light blue colour; however, a pink version has also been spotted.
