According to the official release: 

As per an authority discharge, Indian Naval Ships Sumedha, a natively construct Offshore Patrol vessel and Kulish, a natively assembled guided rocket corvette, is planned to settle on a port decision at Mongla from March 8 to 10 to celebrate the progressing Swarnim Vijay Varsh and emphasizing the noteworthy Indo-Bangladeshi companionship. 

As stated in the statement: 

“This is the first occasion when that any Indian Naval Ship is visiting the port of Mongla in Bangladesh, and the visit is pointed toward giving proper respect to the Bangladeshi and Indian warriors and residents who set out their lives during the Liberation War of 1971 and repeat India’s firm purpose and obligation to look after harmony, steadiness and great request in the district, following SAGAR – Security and Growth for all in the Region, as expressed by the Prime Minister of India,” the assertion read. 

The ships’ crew will participate in professional and cultural exchanges:

In the Chief of Naval Staff’s interest, the Commanding Officers of the boats will approach the senior Bangladesh Navy chain of importance to reaffirm the Indian Navy’s fortitude and organization with Bangladesh. 

Following all Covid-19 conventions, the boats’ team will be interested in proficient and social trades just as agreeable games apparatuses with their partners in the Bangladesh Navy, further upgrading cooperative energy between the two naval forces, the assertion added. 

S Jaishankar embarked on his official visit to Dhaka: 

On Thursday, outer undertakings serve (EAM) S Jaishankar left on his authority visit to Dhaka to set up the ground for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s impending visit to Bangladesh, wherein he held talks with his partner on the advancement of reciprocal ties.

 50 years of the liberation war:
