The Kerala Sasthra Sahithya Parishad has tried to drop the public level intentional online test on ‘gau vigyan’ (cow science), saying it was an endeavour to spread notion and to saffronise the training area in the country. 

The Parishad, a reformist outfit in the state considered as a people’s science development, requested that common society ignore a new mandate gave to all Vice-Chancellors by the University Grants Commission (UGC) to urge understudies to take up the test coordinated by Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog (RKA). 

The Central government had, on January 5, reported the gau Vigyan to be hung on February 25 of every an offer to produce interest among understudies and overall population about the local variety of cow and its advantages. 

“It’s condemnable and stunning that the UGC, a peak collection of college training in the nation, is urging the understudies to participate in a test depends on an informal content brimming with bumbles,” the Parishad said in an official statement. 

The Aayog had said the prospectus of the target model test would be suggested on the site of the RKA. 

The Parishad said there are such countless absurd cases on the site which doesn’t have any logical sponsorship. “The site contains claims that there are hints of gold in the milk of native cows because of which its milk has a light yellowish colour. It additionally says the cow’s milk shields people from atomic radiations and some more,” the Parishad said. 

The Parishad called attention to that the Article 51A (h) of the Constitution of India says it will be the obligation of each resident to build up the logical temper, humanism and the soul of request and change. 

“It’s a disrespect that an administration office in a country with a Constitution, which accentuation on logical mindfulness, was a partner in spreading odd purposeful publicity,” the association said. 

The Parishad, in an articulation, said the move was important for a deliberate exertion to saffronise the country’s instructive interaction, which should be common and logically based. 

“This will humiliate Indian colleges and the instruction framework before the world,” it said. The Parishad requested that the UGC pull out its letter to the colleges and drop the assessment. 

The RKA had said the test would mix interest into all Indians about cows and make them mindful of the neglected potential and business openings a cow can offer, even after it quits giving milk. 

The RKA, which goes under the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, was set up by the Center in February 2019 and is focused on the preservation, assurance and improvement of cows and their descendants.
