Ranveer Singh shares pic with his Nanu; asks for Tequila

Ranveer Singh is praised for his work in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Ranveer Singh took to Instagram to share a Cut pic with his Nanu in which he stated that his nana (maternal grandfather) embodies the character Rocky in the film. He also shared photos of himself and stated why.

Ranveer took to Instagram to share photos and videos with his 93-year-old grandfather. The first image showed the actor posing with his Nanu and making the peace sign. 

While Ranveer was wearing a blue hoodie with the tagline ‘What Jhumka?’ written on it, his Nana was wearing a black sweater with the words ‘Team Rocky’ written on it. In the following video, they dance to the film’s song “What Jhumka?” 

In the last video, he said, “Tiqqi chorro Tequila lao!” (bring Tequila for me). “Nana is peak Rocky-ism!” Ranveer wrote in the caption. (fire and bomb emoji) 93 and Rock(y)ing!!!”

Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani also features Alia Bhatt, Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, Tota Roy Chowdhury, and Churni Ganguly. 

The film represents the love story of Rocky (Ranveer Singh) and Rani (Alia), who come from different backgrounds and cultures. 

In the movie, Ranveer plays Rocky, a fitness enthusiast from a Punjabi family, while Alia’s role Rani is a journalist from a Bengali family in Delhi.

According to Sacnilk.com, the movie grossed around 60.17 crores in its first four days of release. It began at 11 crore and increased to 16 crore on Saturday and 18.75 crore on Sunday. 

Ranveer Singh was seen paying a surprise visit to a Mumbai cinema theatre on Tuesday evening. He was then seen posing for the paparazzi with Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar.
