Security amped up at Kangana Ranaut’s home after gunshots were reported near her house.
Kangana Ranaut, who has been openly bashing the big-wigs of Bollywood, says efforts are being made to intimidate her.
On Friday night, actress Kangana Ranaut’s team reported gunshots outside her home in Manali. The Kullu district police reached the actor’s house and conducted a preliminary investigation and have amped up security measures around the house.
Kangana Ranaut claims she is being intimidated:
Ranaut claimed that she was being intimidated by the movie mafia of Bollywood, after her explosive interview created a stir, and re-ignited the nepotism debate. Kangana has claimed that actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who passed away last month due to suicide, was either lead to his demise or had been murdered by those who couldn’t stand his rise in the film industry.
We all heard a gunshot after mistaking it as a fire-cracker:
Kangana narrated the incident of gunshots being fired outside her home and stated,” I was in my bedroom, at about 11:30 pm. I heard a cracker-like sound at the time. At first, I thought it must be a cracker. And then another shot happened, and I got a little alarmed since that sounded like a gunshot. So I called my security in charge immediately and asked him what happened? He said, it might be some children, we will go around and see whether it was crackers or some other noise was there. He thought it maybe has something to do with some mischief. So they went around, but there was nobody there. So we called the cops.”
Kangana also gave details of the police investigation and said that her whole family is under immense stress due to her statements against the Bollywood mafia. The police officer stated that other residents’ statements were too recorded and the police will be keeping a close eye around the same.
