In Karan Johar’s Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives, Seema Kiran Sajdeh (ex-wife of Sohail Khan), Maheep Kapoor (wife of Sanjay Kapoor), Bhavana Pandey (wife of Chunky Panday), and Neelam Kothari appear (married to Samir Soni). The popular show is currently in its second season and has already revealed several facts about the lives of these celebrities. In one of the episodes, Maheep arranges for Seema to meet Sima Taparia from India Matchmaking.
Then, Maheep hypothetically asked Taparia to locate someone for Seema, and Taparia requested that Seema elaborates on the circumstances surrounding her breakup with Sohail Khan.
Seema continued, “I’ve been separated from Sohail Khan, Salman Khan’s brother, for the past five years.” When Taparia questioned Sima about the reason for the breakup, Sima replied, “Our views are not the same.” Taparia then asked Sima, “But after 22 years, you came to know the views are not the same?” Then Sima added that it “takes time.” Sima “You two have spent 22 years together,” Taparia retorted.
Then Seema continued, “Because we were both trying, I was using your formula. I tried the entire formula. He tried, too. In other words, it’s not like we didn’t try. And things change when we become parents.”
When Taparia inquired if their kids had approved of the divorce, Seema responded, “My younger child, who just turned ten, is too young. And my older child has also concurred.”
Taparia concurred with Seema’s statement that she is “very stubborn.”
Seema then jokingly remarked, “Seems like I prefer women,” which caused a horrified look on Maheep’s face before she continued, “I am just joking.”
In front of their loved ones who practised their respective religions, the couple got married in 1998. Nirvan was the couple’s first child, which they welcomed in 2000 after two years of blissful marriage. The couple welcomed Yohan, their second son, through surrogacy, in June 2011.
