StartupTN launched Smart Card Initiative to Support Entrepreneurs

StartupTN, supported by the Tamil Nadu government, has unveiled the Smart Card initiative and other measures to foster a dynamic startup ecosystem in the state. 

The aim is to stimulate innovation and generate employment and economic growth through entrepreneurship.

Comprehensive Support for Entrepreneurs by StartupTN:

The Smart Card initiative provides aspiring entrepreneurs access to various products and services at subsidized rates. 

These services encompass legal and compliance assistance, marketing and business consulting, financial and insurance solutions, and software and information technology support.

Launch Event and Distribution of Smart Cards:

Minister for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, T M Anbarasan, inaugurated the Smart Cards at a recent event and presented 10 Smart Cards to startups. 

The initiative aims to equip budding entrepreneurs with essential resources and support to facilitate their journey in building successful ventures.

Collaborative Efforts and Partnerships:

StartupTN has collaborated with various partners to offer a diverse array of effects and services tailored to the needs of early-stage startups. 

These partnerships aim to provide entrepreneurs with valuable resources at reduced costs, enhancing their chances of success.

Equity Investment for Startup Development:

During the event, Minister T M Anbarasan disbursed startup funds totaling Rs 9.05 crore to nine entrepreneurs under the Tamil Nadu Scheduled Castes and Tribes Fund. 

This investment serves as equity funding to support the growth and development of startups belonging to marginalized communities.
