Key Points:

  • Zalawad might see a water shortage issue after a long time.

  • Dams condition in Surendranagar District 2021.

Surendranagar District of Gujarat received good rainfall in the starting, but soon after a good start, Rain gods are not showing any mercy to the district. No rainfall is observed from Mid July 2021 to August 6, which is a worrying factor for Surendranagar District farmers and the people.

Today most of the dams of Surendranagar are empty. According to the sources, three dams are totally empty, which is a big issue. If Surendranagar doesn’t receive rain in August, then the district will see a double loss.
