The new Tata Nexon EV out now for limited Period of Subscription, But there is a catch!

Tata Nexon EV is now accessible on a subscription-based platform for a drive that aims to make it more affordable to experience getting behind the wheel. However, the subscription deal is only available until 30 November and is available for the first 100 clients. Also, it is only accessible in five cities at present.

Tata Motors announced in a press release that the offer would allow the customers to experience the Nexon EV at a fixed all-inclusive rental beginning at just Rs. 34,900 every month.

This ensures that no extra road tax and registration, insurance renewals, operation, and maintenance need to be charged.

The subscription period will vary from 12 months to 24 months and to 36 months and has been carried out in Delhi / NCR, Bombay, Pune, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.

Offered in collaboration with Orix Auto, Tata Motors believes that prospective customers will enjoy this new way of ‘owning’ a Nexon EV. Pankaj Jhunja, Head- Mobility Services, Tata Motors, said, “Our latest ‘Electrifying Subscription’ offer is designed to make EVs even more available to an increasingly growing base of future aware people.

” In the increasingly-phenomena of the sharing economy, it is perfect for consumers who choose “usership” over ownership.
In addition, Tata Motors stressed that the deal would be better suited to businesses that choose to lease, people with regular inter-city work transfers, and expatriates who remain for a fixed term.

However, it seems to be a small figure that only 100 clients will use the deal, and although the organisation has not expressly said so, if the initial feedback is positive, it may carry out this program to more clients and in additional cities.

The Nexon EV has an IP67 water-grade 30.2kWh lithium-ion battery pack with peak power figures of 129 hp and 245 Nm torque. Tata argues that in 9.9 seconds, the Nexon EV propels from stationery to 100 kmph. On a single charge, the stated range of the EV is 300 kilometres.
