A video of an old BJP leader shot dead in UP is surfing over the internet. He was gone for an evening walk.

Anuj Chaudhary, a 30-year-old Bharatiya Janata Party leader from Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad, was shot dead Thursday evening outside his home.

The BJP leader shot dead:

While taking a walk outside of his home, Chaudhary was allegedly attacked by unknown attackers on motorcycles. As per the officials, he was rushed to the hospital immediately; unfortunately, he died during treatment. 

“The family members of the victim have filed a complaint and a case has been registered against two men, Amit Chaudhary and Aniket,” said Moradabad SSP Hemraj Meena.

Family blames oppositions:

Chaudhary ran for block chief from Sambhal’s Asmoli block but was unsuccessful. Chaudhary’s family has blamed opposition politicians for his death.

Police have filed complaints against four individuals and are looking for the culprits.

“There was personal antagonism between the two sides. A case has been filed against four people. To apprehend the suspects, five teams have been organised. 

“Strict legal action will be taken following the arrest of the wanted accused as soon as possible,” the Moradabad Police stated in a statement.

Earlier, unidentified miscreants shot and killed an attorney in Uttar Pradesh’s Sultanpur district, police reported on Monday.

According to officials, the event occurred on Sunday evening in Nekrahi village, which is located in the Kotwali Dehat police station area of Sultanpur district. 

At 7 p.m., Advocate Azad was at a tea shop with his brother, Munavvar, when a gang of unidentified people arrived in an SUV and began firing at them.
