The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released a list of official bank holidays for November. Banks will not be open for 17 days in November.

 Many festivals are coming up in November including Diwali and Guru Nanak Jayanti / Kartik Purnama. As a result, 11 holidays have been fixed for banks in different states of the country. Apart from that, the bank will also be closed on 4th Sunday and 2nd Saturday.

Banks will not be open for 17 days in November.

According to RBI guidelines, banks are closed on Sundays and the second and fourth Saturdays of the month. However, under the Negotiable Instruments Act, the RBI has declared holidays on November 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 19, 22 and 23. Therefore, there are also four Sundays in the month and a holiday on the second and fourth Saturdays.

Kanpur and Lucknow Banks will be closed for four consecutive days in Kanpur and Lucknow from November 4 to 7. Also, in Shillong, the bank will be closed for three days, from November 12 to 14. In such a situation the people of this place need to take care of these holidays.
