Here’s all about cancer on the world cancer day

Cancer is one of the deadliest diseases, marking 4th February as World Cancer day to spread awareness.

Millions of people have been affected by this disease globally. In India, the cases of breast, ovarian and lung cancer have been quite general, as it is known as one of the deadliest diseases.

The reason behind the disease:

Cancer is made up of trillions of cells and can form in any part of the body, as per the National Cancer Institute.

The cause of the disease is that some of the cells grow uncontrollably and spread to other body parts.

Human cells normally grow and multiply to shape new cells as the body requires them. Cells die when they get old or damaged, and fresh cells replace them.

Sometimes, these abnormal or damaged cells grow and spread in the body, which should not happen. The bump evolves into a tumour and can be dangerous.

To spread awareness for Cancer every year, 4th February is marked as World Cancer Day. This disease is dangerous, but we can prevent it by making a few changes to have a healthy life.
