After a photo of her with the alleged conman, Sukesh Chandrasekhar, was widely shared on social media, actress Jacqueline Fernandez issued a statement. On Saturday evening, Jacqueline took to Instagram to ask her fans and media friends’ not to share the images, which she claimed ‘intrude (her) privacy and personal space.’
She stated that while she is going through a “rough patch,” she hopes to recover soon.
“This country and its people have always shown me a great deal of love and respect.
This includes my media friends, from whom I have learned a great deal. I am going through a rotten patch right now, but I’m confident that my friends and fans will support me through it. With this trust, I would like to request that my media friends refrain from disseminating images of a nature. That intrude on my privacy and personal space. You wouldn’t do this to your own family, and I’m sure you wouldn’t do it to me. I’m hoping that justice and common sense triumph. “Thank you,” the statement concluded.
Jacqueline Fernandez was implicate in Chandrashekhar’s Rs 200-crore money-laundering scheme. But, according to reports, the actor, who the Enforcement Directorate has already questioned in connection with the case. Claimed she was also duped by Sukesh, who claim to own Sun TV and approach her with a firm offer.
According to an ANI report, Chandrasekhar admitted to having a relationship with Jacqueline but said it had not to do with the case against him.
