  • Dhunvav village was sandwiched between the heavy rains of Uparvas and the tidal waters of the sea.

  • Even though the water has receded, there is still a layer of mud in the house.

Jamnagar was lashed by torrential rains from Sunday night to Monday as if Megharaja had acted badly. Many villages in the Jamnagar district were inundated due to heavy rains. 

The floods inundated Dhunwav village in Jamnagar and wreaked havoc on the 24-hour Jaltandwe. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has reached Dhunwav village and visited the affected people.

 He has assured full cooperation to the affected. Divya Bhaskar visited the village, in which people affected by the floods told Radmus Akhe that water came and washed the house.

 All the household goods have been washed away. He appealed to the villagers to help him on an immediate basis to restore life. Newly appointed Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel is also reported visiting the village to take stock of the situation there, which the people’s representatives are reaching in the village.

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel visited Dhunwav village

Dhuwav was ravaged by low rainfall.

Heavy rains from Aliabada and Kalawad in Jamnagar turned back to Dhunvav village. But, on the other hand, the sea was rising and due to this water was coming towards the village, so the village was devastated even with less rain as the water was not discharged towards the sea.

The houses were covered with mud.

An inspection of the site of mud freezing in the houses revealed that most of the houses in the village were frozen due to flooding of rainwater. 

Floodwaters have caused severe damage to homes. If you look at the roads of the village, you can see the damage. Dhunvav taluka school was submerged in water. The school is muddy. The villagers have come out of the desperate atmosphere, started working to revive their lives, and started cleaning the village on their own.

A survey of the villages damaged in the heavy rains was started.

Many animals tanayam

was talking with the villagers, he said that it was very terrible in the last 24 hours. Everywhere you looked, there was water. 

Many animals have been stranded due to the water, and some have died due to being tied up. The farms have been turned into rivers.

The village was devastated by the floods.

Everything was washed away:

Ashishbhai, a resident of the flood-hit village, said that there was a terrible flood yesterday. The house was submerged in the floodwaters.

 The surrounding shifts were broken. The whole house has been washed away. Everything is washed away. We have run out of food. Everything went into the water. The house is flooded.

Work was carried out to remove the mud.

The village was flooded yesterday as 75 per cent of the area was submerged in water. The floods inundated 75 per cent of the area. Almost most of the houses in the village were flooded by 5 to 6 feet of water. 

People’s food and drink, everything in the house are soaked. Terrible damage has been done. The roads are all washed away. Agriculture has suffered a lot. 100 per cent of the farm was submerged in water. Lands and farms have been washed away.

The floods caused severe damage.

. In which Poonu village is situated. All the houses of this society had 6-6 feet of water. People were walking on the roof. The house has been badly damaged.

 Many cattle are stranded. Some tied cattle have died. This village needs help. It has been suggested that an immediate survey be conducted to help. Now people are all busy figuring out how to 

get out of tomorrow’s flood.

 Every villager has left their job and made efforts to restore normal life. There has been a problem with the lights for two days, so it needs to be fixed quickly.

The farms are still turned into bats.

Nathiben Parmar, another flood-hit resident, said the floodwaters had receded, and the water had remained in the village for six to seven hours. Never in all these years has so much water come to the village. 

The two areas were so submerged in water that no one could get out of there under any circumstances. Some have lost their homes, while others have missed their homes. No one can cook. We are freezing the people by arranging in the village. There is no light in the village. The Chief Minister should be asked to provide immediate assistance.
