Rain of worms in China; here’s the viral video

Recently, a weird video is surfing the internet, in which we can see the Rain of worms in Beijing, China. 

The viral clip shows that the roads and Vehicles of Beijing are covered with some worm-like creatures, as per a report in the New York Post. 

Yet it’s unclear what that is, as we can see people walking with umbrellas on the roads.

The video, which Insider Paper posted, showed thousands of worm-like dirty brown critters covering cars parked on Beijing streets. According to the story, people could be seen clutching umbrellas to protect themselves from being struck by worms dropping from the sky.

Although the cause of the “worm rain is not yet known, the scientific journal Mother Nature Network proposes that the slimy critters were dropped after being whisked up by strong winds,” according to the New York Post.

The report said, “According to the periodic, this type of incident happens after a storm when insects are caught up in a vortex.

A page on Twitter, The Rio Times, aslo shared a video in which they stated, ‘Rain of worms’ floods Beijing A “rain of worms” flooded Beijing this week, as per the videos posted on social networks. In the images, it is possible to see the “animals” covering streets and vehicles.

In which a Chinese journalist Shen Shiwei commented, I’m in Beijing, and this video is fake. Beijing hasn’t got rainfall these days.

So the video is fake, but it’s still a mystery as we have never seen the Rain of worms in Beijing or any place in the world.
