 Just last week, his mother, Muktabahen Nenshibhai Kakkad, passed away at 98. On the one hand, Manaharbhai was saddened by the loss of his mother, but in such a difficult moment, he decided to donate his mother’s skin to save the life of a burnt person. This is the first woman and the third donor in Skin Bank, four months ago. Before this, both were men.

Kakkad, a native of Rajkot and now running his own business in Mumbai, said from a study that one person’s skin could save many lives. So after the dying of his mother, he decided to save the lives of others.
