41-year-old Sonali Phogat of the Haryana BJP dies of a heart attack in Goa
Sonali Phogat, a BJP candidate from Adampur, ran against former Congress leader Kuldeep Bishnoi in the 2019 Haryana election. Last night in Goa, BJP leader Sonali Phogat passed away from a heart attack 41 years old.
She reportedly visited the seaside state with a few of her employees.

Last month, Mr. Bishnoi left his position as an MLA and joined the BJP.
Sonali Phogat and Mr. Bishnoi had a meeting last week amid rumours that she would be the BJP candidate in the by-elections for Adampur. With the help of her TikTok videos, Sonali gained notoriety and amassed a sizable fan base. Sonali made her TV anchoring debut in 2006 and joined the BJP two years later.
She additionally took part in the Bigg Boss 2020 season. She uploaded a video to her official Instagram account a few hours before she passed away, donning a pink dupatta as a headband and the Mohammad Rafi song “Rukh se jara nikab to hata do mere hazoor” in the background. Sonali also changed the outfit in her Twitter profile picture.
When Sonali assaulted Balsamand market secretary Sultan Singh two years ago, she became embroiled in controversy. She reportedly beat him while accusing him of abusing her and throwing objects at her.
