Honda Cars India announced that the all-new Honda Elevate mid-size SUV, which will compete with the popular Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and Kia Seltos, will make its world debut on June 6. The business has released a teaser image of the automobile.

Surprisingly, the Elevate lacks a panoramic sunroof, as seen in the Creta and Grand Vitara. There is an electronic sunroof similar to the one found in the Seltos.

After the City mid-size sedan and the Amaze compact sedan, the Elevate mid-size SUV will be Honda’s third volume pillar. It will be released in India before the Christmas season begins. In addition, India will be the vehicle’s first market.

Price of upcoming Honda Elevate:

The Honda Elevate is expected to cost between Rs 10.50 lakh and Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. The Hyundai Creta costs between Rs 10.87 lakh and Rs 19.20 lakh (ex-showroom), the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara costs around Rs 10.70 lakh and Rs 19.95 lakh (ex-showroom), as well as the Kia Seltos costs between Rs 10.89 lakh and Rs 19.65 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Elevate will have a couple of engine options, similar to what we witness in the City. As a result, there will be a 1.5-litre VTEC DOHC petrol engine (121PS maximum power and 145Nm peak torque) with 6-speed MT and 7-speed CVT gearbox options.

A robust hybrid powertrain will also be available, consisting of a self-charging, two-motor e-CVT system linked to a 1.5-litre Atkinson-cycle petrol engine (126PS maximum power and 253Nm peak torque).

In terms of equipment, the Honda Elevate will have LED headlamps, DRLs, taillamps, and 17-inch alloy wheels.

The inside will include, among other things, a touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, automated climate control, wireless charger, and ventilated seats. Honda is also expected to include ADAS with the Elevate.
