Watch ball of the Asia cup by Mohammed Siraj in final. Unplayable!!

In the Asia Cup final held in Colombo, Team India’s star pacer, Mohammed Siraj, delivered an exceptional performance. His bowling left the Sri Lankan crowd stunned.

Siraj made a significant impact, picking up four wickets in only his 2nd over. The over created a havoc in the Sri Lankan top order.

Siraj exploited the overcast conditions to optimum effect after opting to bat and a brief rain delay.

His fast bowling partner, Jasprit Bumrah, struck the first blow in the opening over of the match, setting the stage for Siraj’s remarkable spell.

A Prolific Over by Mohammed Siraj:

In the fourth over, Siraj’s incredible over began with the dismissal of Pathum Nissanka on the very first delivery. Ravindra Jadeja pulled off a spectacular diving catch, sending Nissanka back to the pavilion for just two runs.

Siraj tormented the Sri Lankan batting order with three balls remaining in the over. Despite a review attempt, his delivery clocked 143kph and moved sharply into the right-hander, dismissing Sadeera Samarawickrama for an LBW.

Siraj the wicket machine:

Siraj didn’t stop there; he claimed his third wicket in the over by dismissing Charith Asalanka. Charith the hero of the match against Pakistan but was sent back without scoring. Asalanka chipped the ball straight to Ishan Kishan at the covers boundary.

Record-Breaking Over:

Siraj etched his name in the record books as the first Indian to take four wickets in an over in ODIs. Incredibly, he also took his fifth wicket in his next over, completing his fifer in just 2.4 overs, the fastest by an Indian. Additionally, Siraj became the first Indian to take a five-wicket haul in an Asia Cup final.

Siraj’s incredible performance didn’t end there, as he added a sixth wicket to his tally by dismissing Kusal Mendis on 17. His fiery inswinger was too much for Mendis, who missed the line and was bowled out.

Sri Lanka Bowled Out for 50:

Ultimately, Sri Lanka was bowled out for a mere 50 runs in 15.4 overs, with Hardik Pandya picking up the remaining three innings wickets. Mohammed Siraj’s exceptional bowling display left Sri Lanka in tatters, making him the standout performer of the Asia Cup final.
