The rapper has responded after the owner of an event firm filed a complaint with Mumbai Police accusing Yo Yo Honey Singh and others of taking him captive and exploiting him.
Honey Singh took to Instagram to respond to the ‘false and baseless’ claims against him, On Thursday.
He also stated that his legal team intends to bring a defamation suit against the guy who accused him of kidnapping and assault.
A police complaint has been registered against rapper Honey Singh for kidnapping and assaulting an event organiser in Mumbai, stated an official on Thursday.
As per Mumbai Police, the person’s name who has given a written complaint against the Rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh, his name is Vivek Raman; there are several names in the complaint at the BKC Police Station. The investigation is ongoing, says Mumbai Police.

As the rapper stated in his Instagram Post, “The complaint and the allegations are false and baseless. There is no connection or agreement between my company or the complainant which the media is showing since morning. I was engaged for the Mumbai Show through a company named Tribevibe which is a reputed company and a sister concern of Bookmyshow. I did my performance for whatever time the permission was there for. Rest all such allegations are false and an attempt to tarnish my image. My Legal Team is already working to file a defamation case against such miscreants.

According to the police complaint filed on April 19, the complainant, Vivek Raman, had arranged a concert for the artist on April 15 at Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). The show had to be cancelled due to money transaction issues.
In his complaint to BKC police, the complainant said that the event’s cancellation enraged Honey Singh and his friends, who then kidnapped him, had him hostage at a Mumbai Hotel, and attacked him.
According to police, he requested that a complaint be filed against Honey Singh and that the singer and his entourage be detained.
