The Breaking Bad actor took to Instagram to reveal that during the initial stages of the global pandemic, he and his wife were infected with mild symptoms of the novel COVID-19 virus.

Hollywood actor Bryan Cranston recently revealed on his Instagram that he had recovered from mild symptoms of the novel COVID-19 virus and he also donated plasma to a local blood bank. On Live with Kelly and Ryan, the Breaking Bad actor detailed his experience of being infected by the coronavirus and said during the initial stages of the global pandemic, he and his wife got symptoms of the virus and were detected positive, following a COVID-19 test. Cranston further added that they didn’t disclose it to anyone as he felt that the world didn’t need another coronavirus celebrity, and went about his way.

Bryan Cranston lost his sense of smell and taste for a couple of months:

Talking about his symptoms, Bryan Cranston said,” We were very fortunate, very mild symptoms, a couple of days of feeling achy. And then just about a week of severe lethargy and then I lost my sense of taste and smell for a couple of months and that has since come back to about 75%.” After donating the plasma, the blood bank requested the Emmy-winning actor to do a social media post about his donation as they felt it would inspire more plasma donors.
