This College has its own charm due to its beautiful architecture. It was named after Wazir Bahauddinbhai, the brother-in-law of the Nawab of Junagadh.

The unique feature of this building is that, although its central part is 100 feet long and 60 feet wide and has a high roof, it does not have a single pillar. Thus, it is an excellent example of the ability of a local artisan.

• According to the sources at that time Construction cost of this building was 2.50 lakhs.
• The merger of Bahauddin College with Mumbai University in 1901 and then shifting to Saurashtra University in 1964/65.
• In the first year, more than 96 students were admitted.
• The College had English, Mathematics, Science, Sanskrit, Persian, French, Philosophy, History, Economics, Post Graduation courses.
• The first principal was Marsh Hesketh.
• Jethabhai Bhagabhai Mistry constructed the building.
• Zaverchand Meghani, Gaurishankar Joshi (Dhumketu), Manoj Khanderia, Shunya Palanpuri, Rajendra Shukla, Girijashankar Acharya studied at Bahauddin College.
