Lady officer Bihar attacked, 44 arrested read report

According to a top police source quoted by news agency ANI, 44 persons have been arrested, and three FIRs have been lodged in a case involving the attack on a lady officer of Bihar in Patna district. 

The woman officer was reported to be from the state’s mining department. The persons who attacked her by pulling her and yelling slurs were allegedly involved in illicit sand mining activity in Patna’s Bihta town.

According to the senior superintendent of police in Patna, as stated by ANI, more arrests are being made with the lady officer of Bihar case.

Video footage that went popular on social media sites, the integrity of which we cannot check, shows a huge gathering of people chasing the woman cop away by hurling what appeared to be a stone at her. 

Many of them, including the one filming the video, were hurling hateful language at her and demanding to maul her. The female cop could be seen fleeing to save her life. When the individual filming the video arrived at the scene, someone was seen dragging the cop by her hand.
