Mumbai man arrested for riding a bike on Bandra-Worli sea link 

The person accused of the incident of Bandra-Worli Sea link Kiran Sunilbhai Patel (24), who lives at Dwarkesh Heaven in Chandkheda, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Patel was on a motorcycle with a 17-year-old friend who resides in Kandivali.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Bandra Police arrested a 24-year-old man for riding his bike on the wrong side of the southbound lane of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link. The man was also booked for this offence.

The individual who has been accused has been identified as Kiran Sunilbhai Patel (24) and is a resident of Dwarkesh Heaven in Chandkheda, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Patel was riding a bike with a 17-year-old friend who resides in Kandivali.

The Yamaha RAXZR bike belonging to him was also confiscated by the police.

Police officials reported that an incident occurred on Wednesday at approximately 2 pm on the Bandra Worli Sea Link. The suspect entered from the Worli side and was stopped by Police Officer Naik Mangesh Randive in the second lane of the sea link.

Patel was informed by a police officer that motorcycles are prohibited on the sea link. Despite this, Patel continued and made an illegal U-turn while attempting to flee from the scene.

According to a police officer, barricades were set up at the entry of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, and the suspect was caught before he could escape. 

The accused has been arrested under numerous sections, including IPC 308, 279, 336, and various Motor Vehicle Acts such as 184, 179, 190(2), 3/181, and 4(2)/177(A).
