A resident of Raipur prepares the 500-year-old history of the Kutch Gurjar Kshatriya Samaj. It is a “Pedhi Ambo” a digital genealogy for which it took him about 7 years.
Bharatbhai Sawariya of Raipur took the initiative to compile the genealogy of the people of Kutch Gurjar Kshatriya Samaj, who had settled all over the world. During this seven years of hard work, he discovered a 500-year history of society and gathered information about 78 native men. The Kutch Gurjar Kshatriyas who have settled worldwide are the descendants of these 78 native men.
Digital genealogy build with the help of software from a German company. It has been live on the ‘KGK One’ app after getting approval from the national executive of the society.
KG Kshatriya Samaj:
Now any member of KG Kshatriya Samaj can know the name and history of their ancestors with just one click. What is special is that the genealogy of people living worldwide, including India, done from Raipur. Bharatbhai has been working on this project since 2015.
According to Savariya, 78 temples of the original men of the society in Kutch once discussed genealogy with his friend Jitendra Rathore. He also felt the need to work in this direction. So they came to Kutch to explore history where there are temples of 78 native men of the society.
People from all over the country and the world come here for darshan on big occasions like weddings. He gathered information from the people in charge of the temple and contacted everyone by phone to find out the names of their ancestors.

A central number given including names: Although the digital genealogy covers most of the people in the society, some names were likely to remain. A central number will come shortly to add the remaining names. People have to call this number to give information about their ancestors of three to four generations.
