‘Op Sindoor showed zero tolerance for terrorism’: CM Bhupendra Patel at Tiranga Yatra in Ahmedabad
Ahmedabad: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Tuesday praised the success of Operation Sindoor, calling it a strong message that India maintains zero tolerance for terrorism. Speaking at the ‘Tiranga Yatra’ foot march organised to celebrate the operation’s triumph, Patel said the military action not only struck a hard blow to terrorists but also rekindled the spirit of nationalism among Indians.
The Tiranga Yatra began at Vadaj and ended at the Subhash Chandra Bose statue near the RTO circle, covering nearly 1.5 kilometres. CM Patel actively participated in the march, which was organised by the BJP-led Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) along with various non-governmental organisations.
Addressing the crowd at Vadaj, Patel congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian armed forces for their decisive action during Operation Sindoor. “Operation Sindoor is the reflection of the sentiments of crores of Indians who demand justice and peace. The Indian Army has given a befitting reply to terrorists through this operation. It is a resounding success in India’s fight against terrorism,” he said.
He emphasised that the operation clearly demonstrated India’s steadfast commitment to its zero-tolerance policy against terrorism under the leadership of PM Modi. “We have conveyed to the world that India will not compromise on its stance against terror. This military success sends a strong message to all who threaten our peace and security,” the CM added.
Patel also highlighted the retaliatory nature of Operation Sindoor, explaining that the Indian armed forces acted to avenge the Pahalgam terror attack by targeting and eliminating Pakistan-sponsored terrorists on their own soil. “This is not just a military victory but a moment of national pride. It shows that India is ready to defend its sovereignty and protect its citizens at any cost,” he said.
The Tiranga Yatra attracted large crowds waving the national flag, expressing solidarity with the armed forces and celebrating the triumph of Operation Sindoor. The event served as a reminder of India’s resolve to fight terrorism and uphold national unity.
