Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has undertaken a significant freshers hiring initiative, with more than 10,000 new recruits joining its ranks. 

This move reflects TCS’s optimism regarding a potential demand resurgence in the current financial year. 

The recruitment process, facilitated through the National Qualifier Test (NQT), underscores TCS’s commitment to nurturing young talent.

Details of the Tata Consultancy Services Hiring Drive:

TCS commenced its fresher hiring process via the NQT, with tests scheduled for April 26. 

The company is offering various roles under three categories: Ninja, Digital, and Prime, with annual packages ranging from ₹3.36 lakh to ₹9-11.5 lakh. 

The recruitment drive aims to cater to diverse skill sets and career aspirations of fresh graduates.

Insights from TCS Colleges:

According to reports, colleges have welcomed TCS’s hiring initiative, anticipating positive outcomes for their students. 

V Samuel Rajkumar, Director of Career Development Centre at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), expressed optimism about the placement prospects for students across colleges. Similarly, S Vaidhyasubramaniam, Vice-Chancellor of SASTRA University, highlighted the significant number of offer letters received by students, indicating strong interest from TCS.

Growth Plans by Tata Consultancy Services:

TCS’s aggressive hiring strategy aligns with its broader growth objectives. With plans to add 40,000 freshers in FY24, the company aims to strengthen its workforce and capitalize on emerging opportunities. 

The substantial employee additions in FY23 underscore TCS’s commitment to talent acquisition and development.
