India and Indonesia will receive the update shortly. However, users must apply to the company to try the official version. The regular update is already available for Oppo Reno 3 Pro users in China. The update is only available to users with firmware version C.23 or higher.

Oppo has announced in a community forum post that it will soon begin rolling out the Android 12-based ColorOS 12 stable update for Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro handsets in the Indian and Indonesian markets.

In a separate community forum post, the company stated that Reno 3 users in China would also receive the update soon. The Oppo Reno 3 Pro users in China have already received the previous stable update. Users in India and Indonesia who want to update their smartphones must have version C.23 or higher firmware.

Reno 3 users in China must be running version C.14 or higher to receive the ColorOS 12 update.

The Oppo smartphones should have updated automatically. But if they haven’t, eligible users can apply for an update to stable ColorOS 12 by going to Settings > Software update and detecting the ColorOS 12 version and updating. According to some. Oppo has also announced that its OTalk developer forum session will be hold in China on June 8. The company is expected to reveal its strategy for implementing Android 13 on its smartphones and other devices in China. This includes Oppo’s sister company, OnePlus’s smartphones.
