Nishi Singh, the Qubool Hai actor, died on September 18 after a three-year battle with illness. Sanjay Singh Bhadli, Nishi’s husband, confirmed her death due to medical complications just two days after her 50th birthday. Sanjay and their two children, a 21-year-old son and an 18-year-old daughter, survive her.
Sanjay, a writer-actor by trade, had previously requested financial assistance in September 2020. After Nishi suffered a paralytic attack in February 2019 and another in February 2020. Sanjay revealed that she was on the mend, but her condition began to deteriorate after another stroke in May of this year. He also stated that the family is dealing with both her loss and financial issues following her death.
Sanjay recalled her final days times, saying, “Last few weeks, she found it difficult to eat due to a severe throat infection.” She stopped eating solid food, and we could only give her liquids.
The most ironic thing is that we just celebrated her 50th birthday the day before yesterday (September 16).
Despite her inability to communicate, she appeared to be very happy. “I asked her to eat her favorite besan ka laddoo, which she did.”
“She fought hard to survive,” he added. She died at around 3 p.m. The worst part is that she had been with me for 32 years. She was with me despite her illness. Besides our two children, I no longer have anyone to call family. My daughter also dropped out of school and skipped her board exams to help me care for her mother. I couldn’t do anything because she always needed me by her side.”
