Ather 450S will hit the Indian EV Market tomorrow

The Ather 450S has created quite a buzz in the Indian electric vehicle industry as it prepares for its August 11 debut. 

This new Ather Energy offering is expected to be the brand’s most cheap electric scooter, competing with rivals such as the Ola S1 Air, the most affordable electric scooter from Ola Electric, which will be released on August 15.

With the debut of the Ather 450S, the Energy hopes to gain a larger piece of the Indian electric two-wheeler industry. This scooter will be a scaled-down version of Ather Energy’s flagship, the Ather 450X.

Ather 450S launched on August 11:

The EV company has already revealed the pricing, top speed, and range of the Ather 450S. Bookings for the scooter are now available across India, with the official launch set for August 11. Here are some details on the upcoming model.

The Ather 450S will likely have the same sporty and aggressive appearance as the 450X. The new EV scooters are famed for their elegant design, and the 450S will have a curving front cowl with LED headlamps, slim turn indicators, an inverted C-shaped LED taillight, and sporty black alloy wheels.

What makes 450S and 450X different:

The instrument cluster differentiates the 450S from the 450X. The 450X will have a fully touchscreen display, whilst the 450S will have a non-touch LCD display. There may also be minor differences in the navigation systems between the two variants.

In terms of battery capacity, the 450S will have a lesser 2.9 kWh battery than the 3.7 kWh battery in the 450X. 

Despite its smaller size, the 450S will still have a range of 115 kilometres and a top speed of 90 kilometres per hour, according to Ather Energy’s website.

The Ather 450S is will make a sensation in the Indian electric scooter industry when it releases on August 11, thanks to its low pricing, elegant design, and remarkable range and speed.
