Baba Ramdev Backs NDA Victory in Bihar Elections

Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev has expressed strong confidence in the National Democratic Alliance’s prospects for victory in the upcoming Bihar assembly elections, highlighting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s exceptional leadership as a decisive factor. Speaking on Sunday, Ramdev emphasized the significance of democratic competition while making his support for the NDA coalition clear, attributing the political advantage to Modi’s unparalleled stature and contributions to the nation.

Modi’s Towering Presence Shapes Electoral Landscape

According to Baba Ramdev, Prime Minister Modi possesses a personality as commanding as the Himalayas, making it nearly impossible for opponents to challenge his political dominance. He described Modi’s image, character, and contributions as a “divine blessing,” suggesting that these qualities naturally tilt the electoral balance in the NDA’s favor. Ramdev’s comments reflect the broader sentiment among NDA supporters regarding the Prime Minister’s influential role in shaping electoral outcomes across the country.

Election Schedule and Coalition Alliances

The Bihar assembly elections will be conducted in two phases, with voting scheduled for November 6 and 11, followed by vote counting on November 14. The NDA coalition includes the Bharatiya Janata Party, Janata Dal (United), Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular), and Rashtriya Lok Morcha. The opposition Mahagathbandhan alliance comprises the Rashtriya Janata Dal, Congress party, CPI-ML, CPI, CPM, and Vikasheel Insaan Party.

Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to hold election rallies in Ara and Nalanda, along with a roadshow in Patna, to strengthen the NDA campaign. The NDA’s election manifesto promises one crore government jobs and additional income opportunities, while the Mahagathbandhan pledges to implement a government jobs law within 20 days of forming the government.
