Eight individuals were harmed when an Indian Air Force (IAF) transport they were going on slammed into a divider in Mumbai, police said. Sixteen tenants of the transport got away from safe. The eight others endured minor wounds and wounds.

Police said the driver failed to keep a grip on the vehicle after its breaks fizzled as the transport conveyed groups of IAF officials to Thane. 

The mishap caused a jam for more than two hours on the Ghatkopar-Vikhroli thruway. “We are clearing the jam…,” said Kishor Shinde, the senior controller (traffic). 

Pravin Padwal, an extra police official (traffic), said, “There are no significant wounds detailed. We are examining the situation and what precisely caused the mishap.”
