There are currently millions of corona cases in the country and the world—following which the governments of Maharashtra and Delhi have also imposed restrictions. However, the Gujarat government has not yet taken up the matter. But the government has been on the run since the Corona eruption on December 29. Corona’s guideline is coming to an end tomorrow, December 31. But the government has been vibrant and reluctant to impose strict restrictions. The last two days have seen meetings between the Home Department, the Health Department, and the Core Committee. He is also in constant touch with the health department of the center. A decision on Vibrant, Corona, and Uttarayan will likely be taken this evening.
The Gujarat government will issue guidelines in the evening to curb the raging Corona across the state. Night curfews are likely to be extended. There may be restrictions on political and social gatherings as well. The number of people attending weddings and funerals will also be reduced. Education Minister Jitu Waghan has raised the issue of schools, but schools in Std 1 to 8 may be closed again given the Corona explosion.
Corona, Vibrant, and Controls were discussed in
the Cabinet meeting. In this regard, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel had a Cabinet meeting on December 29, chaired by the Chief Minister, with officials on Corona Cases, Controls, Vibrant Gujarat Summit, Uttarayan. The panel discussed Corona cases, vaccinations, new guidelines, landing, and Vibrant.
Health Minister to announce at 5 pm The
The government has become alert after the increasing number of corona cases in Gujarat so that the health minister can announce in the evening to implement the corona guideline strictly. Health Minister Hrishikesh Patel will hold a press conference at 5 pm at Swarnim Sankul-1. The minister will provide information about the current situation in the state regarding Korona.
Earlier, the state government had decided to impose curfew in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar, Junagadh, and Gandhinagar from 11 pm to 5 am from December 25. At the same time, the restaurant was allowed to remain open until 11 p.m. The new guideline will be in force till December 31.
When did the time of curfew change?
At the second wave, i.e., in April, there was a nightly curfew from 8 pm to 6 am. The curfew was then extended from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., giving an hour’s respite in May. The curfew was then lifted from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. It then announced an easing of restrictions on festivals like Janmashtami and Ganeshotsav. In which night curfew was done on Janmashtami day at 1 pm and during 10 days of Ganeshotsav night curfew was done from 12 pm to 6 am. The night curfew was imposed from 1 pm to 5 am as Diwali approached.
At present, there are 97 cases of Omicron in Gujarat
along with Corona, and the instances of Omicron are also increasing slowly. 19 Omicron patients were registered in the state on December 29. The highest number of 8 omicon cases were reported in Ahmedabad city, with 4 males and 4 females. Subsequently, 6 instances of Omicron were reported in Surat city, 6 in Vadodara city, and 2 in Anand. So far, 97 Omicron cases have been reported in Gujarat.
More than
8.31 lakh cases have been reported so far. On December 29, 548 new corona cases were reported in the state. While 65 patients were discharged. So far, 8 lakh 31 thousand 462 reports have come positive, while the death toll has reached 10 thousand 116. As many as 8 lakh 18 thousand 487 patients have been discharged. As far as active cases are concerned, there are currently 1902 active cases in the state, out of which 11 patients are on a ventilator, while 1891 patients are in stable condition.
