Maharashtra Bus Accident: A menacing bus accident reported in Buldhana; as per the source, around 25 deaths were reported.
The bus that caught fire and charred at least 25 passengers to death on the Samrudhhi-Mahamarg Motorway in Buldhana had no faults and was purchased in 2020; the driver was also experienced, according to the bus’s owner, Virendra Darna.
First, a tyre burst, after which the bus hit a road divider and overturned. The bus’s diesel tank then caught fire. The bus was driving from Maharashtra’s Yavatmal to Pune when the terrible accident occurred at 1.30 a.m. when most passengers were sleeping.
Many people were unable to exit and were instantaneously burned. Some folks were able to escape and avoid death. Images of the bus on fire have gone viral on social media.

“This is our family vehicle. We purchased it in January 2020. The bus was taken off the road for a year during the shutdown. The bus’s documentation is complete.
The driver is also knowledgeable. “What we learned is that there was a tyre burst, which caused the car to collide with the divider, and the inflammable items in the bus to catch fire,” the bus’s owner explained.
Advocate Sandip Mehtre, a local from Pimple Khuta Village, where the accident occurred, stated that when the locals arrived, the scene was horrible; passengers were stuck inside, burning alive. According to an eyewitness, the fire was so deadly that no one could be rescued.
Eight passengers, including the bus driver and cleaner, escaped the tragedy. Both have been taken into prison, according to Maharashtra minister Girish Mahajan.
At 4 p.m. on Friday, the Vidarbha Travels bus left Nagpur for Pune. It stopped for dinner in Yavatmal at Karanja. The collision occurred shortly after the bus resumed its voyage.
The bus crashed into a barrier when a tyre blew, landing on the right side with the gates facing the sky, leaving the occupants stranded.
According to police, the truck quickly caught fire. Those who survived the accident exited the vehicle through the back windows.
