It also claimed that women who are pregnant and breastfeeding should stop taking Covaxin as well. The company said that those who are immune-compromised or on medicines that damage the immune system and those who have acquired another Covid-19 vaccine should also not get the medication from Bharat Biotech.

So, who are all candidates for Covaxin shots, then? Bharat Biotech’s fact sheet states that CDSCO has approved the restricted use of all the vaccines in the clinical trial phase.
