The performance of Apple in India has reached new heights, with the September-December quarter witnessing remarkable success driven by consumer and enterprise demand. 

Apple CEO Tim Cook announced that India achieved strong double-digit revenue growth, hitting a quarter revenue record during this period.

Zoho’s Enterprise Adoption of Apple Products:

Enterprises in India, including prominent names like Zoho, increasingly favor Apple products. 

Zoho, a leading technology company with a global workforce of 15,000, stands out, with 80% of its employees choosing iPhones for work, showcasing a significant enterprise preference for Apple devices. 

Zoho’s adoption of Macs is also notable, with nearly two-thirds of its workforce selecting Mac as their primary computer.

iPhone Series Dominance in the Indian Market:

Despite the dominance of entry-level and mid-segment smartphones in India, Apple’s iPhones are gaining substantial traction. 

In the latest quarter, the iPhone 15 series claimed the top spot with a 45% market share, followed by the iPhone 14 series at 33% and the iPhone 13 series at 21%. 

This shift in adoption patterns reflects a growing willingness among Indian consumers to embrace the latest iPhone models.

Growth Strategies and Market Presence:

Apple’s strategic initiatives, including the release of the iPhone 15 series and targeted discount offers during the festive season, contributed to a 7% year-on-year growth in iPhone sales in the September-December quarter. 

This robust performance propelled Apple to the 6th position in Cyber Media Research’s Mobile ranking for the same quarter.

Apple reported iPhone revenue of $69.7 billion globally, marking a 6% year-over-year increase. The company set records in several countries and regions, including India, Indonesia, Latin America, Western Europe, the Middle East, and Korea. 

2023 Apple shipped over 10 million iPhones globally, a significant uptick from the 6 million shipped in 2022, according to Counterpoint Research.

Overall Global Performance by Apple:

Apple’s overall global quarterly revenue for September-December 2023 reached $119.6 billion, showcasing a 2% year-over-year increase. 

The company’s impressive performance in India and across various markets highlights the continued appeal of its products among consumers and enterprises.
