The Chandrayaan 3 landing has been a great success for ISRO and India. India has become the first nation to land on the south surface of the moon.

The Vikram lander of Chandrayaan 3 has successfully landed on the moon’s south pole, causing joy across the country. However, India’s third moon mission has been a challenging task.

Chandrayaan 3 landing a great success for India:

Scientists from the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) have stated that once the Chandrayaan 3 rover is deployed near the lunar south pole, they will conduct a series of experiments for 14 days to learn more about the composition of lunar soil and rocks. Ice deposits and minerals are expected at the moon’s south pole.

India hopes to be the first country to research at the South Pole. This area of the moon has yet to be visited by a mission.

The payloads on the rovers will conduct quantitative and qualitative elemental analysis. They will derive the chemical composition and infer the mineralogical composition to understand the lunar surface better.
