Mandana previously discussed her casting couch experience with Sajid. She’d met him for Humshakals, and he’d asked her to strip naked if she wanted the part, adding, “If I like what I see, you might get the part.” Many others, including Saloni Gaur also Aahana Kumra, have spoken out about their interactions with the director.

Mandana Karimi told Hindustan Times about Sajid Khan joining Bigg Boss 16: “To be honest, I’m not surprised to watch him back in the spotlight.”

“It does make me sad,” Mandana Karimi added. It’s also the reason I haven’t worked in seven months. I’m no longer employed. I did not attend any auditions. I’m not interested in working in Bollywood. I do not want to be a part of an industry that doesn’t value women.”

Karimi also stated that she has yet to receive payment for a show that ended five months ago. The actress avoided naming the producers, but she did mention that her debts had not yet been paid.
