Sava Man Runo Ghee Diwa Ritual

As part of the Mahashivratri festivities, the temple performs the Sava Man Runo Ghee Diwa ritual. 

This ritual involves the lighting of a lamp made of ghee, weighing Rs 25 kg, symbolizing the welfare of the world. Devotees flock to witness and participate in this sacred tradition.

Unique Sahasrlinga Statue

Before the towering statue of Lord Shiva, adorned with 1008 small shivlings, the lamp is ceremoniously lit. 

This statue, with its myriad shivlings, stands as the only Sahasrlinga statue of such colossal proportions in Gujarat, signifying the profound spiritual significance of the temple.
