Ahmedabad Police will have their certified drone squad for the first time in Gujarat.
Trained police are set to prevent drone attacks, as we have heard about several. For the very first time in Gujarat, the Ahmedabad City Police has got the Digic drone pilot license.
The two people will take this training at their own expense, which will be beneficial not just for Ahmedabad City police but also for the entire Gujarat police.
The Ahmedabad drone squad:
There going to be drone-trained police officers in Ahmedabad Police, who have completed a full training of 10 days at Raksha Shakti University.
The training is passed by DGCA (Director General of Civil Aviation). So drones will be of their type, their use and their training.
Five policemen for the Drone Squad:
The requirement of drones in Ahmedabad and Gujarat is necessary as it is one of the main targets of terrorists. It is the very well-known Rath Yatra of Gujarat, the biggest event.
As it passes through several crucial and delicate areas of Ahmedabad, a special force has been deployed to keep surveillance regarding past incidents.
The police will now use certified drones, and five policemen from every police station will be trained, says city Police Commissioner Sanjay Srivastav.
Drones will do surveillance:
The drones used in any wedding or function are flown illegally and without training, says Jaipal Singh, a police officer of the drone squad. Permission will be required to fly a drone.
The drone will help in several types of work for the police after the training has been done, increasing the spread and awareness of technology among them.
Drones are one of the important weapons of security deployment for the police. So after the settlement of the terror attacks in the city, police will keep an eye on the places of drugs selling and use drones to surveillance those areas.
This step will be important to stop the activities of drug selling, etc.
