Trisha Krishnan Shares Warm Moment with Vijay’s Mother at Oath Ceremony

Actor Trisha Krishnan made a graceful appearance at superstar Vijay’s oath-taking ceremony held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai on Sunday. Among the early arrivals, Trisha drew attention not just for her elegant look but for a touching moment she shared with Vijay’s mother, Shoba Chandrasekhar. Visuals from the venue captured the two warmly embracing before taking their seats in the front row — a quiet, heartfelt exchange that resonated with fans online.

Dressed to Impress

For the landmark occasion, Trisha chose a blue silk Kanjeevaram saree from Pothys, complemented by a beige embroidered blouse. Styled by Eka Lakhani and Harshene Ravichandar, her look was understated yet stunning. She was accompanied by her mother, Uma Krishnan, and had earlier expressed her excitement about witnessing the historic event.

A Bond Built on Screen

Trisha and Vijay share a long and celebrated on-screen history. The duo has collaborated on several blockbusters including Ghilli (2004), Thirupaachi (2005), Aathi (2006), and Kuruvi (2008). Their reunion in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Leo, where they played a married couple, was widely appreciated by fans. Trisha also featured in the special number “Matta” in Vijay’s The GOAT.

The ceremony was attended by Vijay’s family, party colleagues, and close associates including producer KL Narayana, lyricist Vivek, and actor Jai. In his first address as Chief Minister, Vijay pledged transparent governance rooted in real secularism and social justice.
